SuperSibs! is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring ongoing comfort, recognition and support to children with brothers and sisters who have cancer. SuperSibs! helps these siblings to redefine the cancer experience to use these life lessons for strength, courage and hope as they move into the future. No longer are these "shadow survivors" forgotten, and alone as they battle feelings of fear, insignificance, guilt, helplessness, anger and grief.
A Grant for $10,000 was awarded to the Children’s Cancer Fund to implement this wonderful program in New Mexico. Through this grant the Children’s Cancer Fund, along with the UNMH Pediatric Oncology Clinic, are providing exciting events dedicated to the Siblings of those affected by cancer. In addition, this grant also assists CCFNM in the purchasing of prizes for Siblings when they accompany their brother or sister to the Clinic for an appointment.
Some other fun things that CCF has done include providing backpacks filled with school supplies, hosting a banana split party for siblings and their families on September 24th, and a fantastic Camp dedicated exclusively to our fantastic siblings (date will be announced soon)!!!

Here are pictures of some of our CCFNM kids and their SuperSibs receiving
backpacks and school supplies so they can start the school year off right!
