NM Legislature Joint Memorial for Childhood Cancer Awareness
On September 12th, CCFNM, along with Dr. Stuart Winter, Kyle Stepp, and Emilie Gonzales and her family attended the Special Session of the New Mexico State Legislature. The State Senate passed a memorial recognizing September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and on Septembr 14th the memorial passed the House of Representatives. Not only was this a victory, but the joint memorial passed with no opposition. Not only were our children recognized, but Dr. Winter, Kyle, and Emilie’s mother Bree were able to speak about the role childhood cancer has had in their lives as well as the importance research and clinical trials has on the treatment of childhood cancer. Here is a link to the memorial SJM003.pdf
Thank you for your support New Mexico!
